TERMS & CONDITIONS

All car rentals are subject to the full terms and conditions printed on the rental agreement and provided below.
Insurance
Our quotes include full insurance for drivers between 25 – 70 with a minimum of three years driving experience, all taxes and all additional drivers we have no hidden extras and a zero-excess policy.

Our insurance does not cover damage caused to our cars from off road driving or loss of car keys.

  • Full Damage Waiver (FDW) – By acquiring FDW insurance, you can ELIMINATE the excess liability in the event of an accident for the additional daily amount of:
    • €5.00 – Excess: €0
  • Additional Damage Waiver (ADW) – Tyres and Windscreens are not covered by the PWD or FDW. Damage to the above can be waived with ADW insurance with additional daily amount of:
    • €3.00

Note: A 10% discount will apply to all extras for reservations from 14 days and above.

 

Accidents
The Renter shall report any accident involving the Vehicle to the Owners (70002545) as soon as it occurs and to the police (emergency calls 199,112) or other proper authority, and shall give all assistance to the Owners and his insurers. The Renter shall not, unless with the written consent of the Owners, give instructions for any repair to the Vehicle or replacement of any of its parts damaged or lost as a result of the accident.

The North
Our cars can be taken to the North but hirers are not covered by our insurance, separate 3rd party insurance is obtained at the border and it is the hirers responsibility to return the car to the South in the event of an accident or breakdown. Credit card details are taken as security.

Outside Cyprus
The Renter shall not take the vehicle outside Cyprus and shall keep the same at all times in his possession and custody, and shall not allow any other person to drive it, except with the Owners prior consent.

Payment
Payment is made on delivery of the car either by cash credit or debit card, no deposit is taken.

Renters Responsibilities
The Renter shall be responsible for the first …………..*(excess amount is shown below for each car) Euro of any loss or damage caused or brought about to the Vehicle, either by theft, fire, destruction, or otherwise, whether or not such damage or loss is caused or brought about by his negligence or breach of the Terms and Conditions of Hire, or otherwise, but shall not be responsible for any further loss or damage to the extent to which the Owners ‘ insurers agree to compensate the Owners for the same pursuant to the said policy of insurance. Save as aforesaid, the Renter shall indemnify the Owners against any loss suffered by the Owners (including loss resulting from inability to use the Vehicle or let the same on hire) in consequence of the destruction, loss or theft of or damage to the Vehicle prior to the Vehicle being returned to the Owners. On or prior to the expiration of the period of agreement, the Renter shall return the Vehicle to the Owners in as good order and condition as the Vehicle was when collected by the Renter from the Owners, leaving the Vehicle at the agreed location stated in the Car Rental agreement.

Collecting Car
A representative from our company will greet you at arrivals where they will be holding a name board, they will take you straight to your car in the car park.

Our representative will wait at arrivals, if hirers are not out of customs within one hour and have not notified us by phone call on 22610050, booking will be cancelled.

All International driving licenses are accepted, providing they are in English.

Cancellation Fees
We have no cancellation fees.

Traffic Fines
Traffic fines are the responsibility of the hirer.

Extension of Hire
Car hires can be extended depending on availability.

RATES INCLUDE

  • The rental vehicles are covered with third party insurance

  • Local road taxes
  • Unlimited mileage / kilometers
  • Radio or CD players in all cars
  • Road maps (on request)

RATES EXCLUDE

  • Petrol/Diesel – The renter must return the vehicle with the amount of fuel specified in the rental agreement. If the amount is smaller, the renter shall bear the relevant cost. No partial refunds are made.
  • GPS – This can be obtained for €5 per day.
  • Baby seats- These can be obtained for €3 per day.
  • VAT

QUALIFICATION AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • All reservations are made by group, no specific model can be guaranteed.
  • The renter has to show a valid driving license and ID card or passport at time of pick up.
  • A valid credit card in the name of the main driver must be presented as guarantee for the rental.
  • Minimum renter’s age is 25 years. Drivers under 25 (but older than 21) with minimum 3 years driving license, can obtain the right to drive at an additional cost of €6.
  • The Owner shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to make any payment to the Renter in respect of or to indemnify the Renter against any loss, injuries, death, or damage sustained by the Renter or by any third party as a result of the presence or use of the Vehicle or as a result of any defect therein and in taking delivery of the Vehicle the Renter shall be deemed to have satisfied himself that it is in all respect roadworthy and in a proper and safe condition, being always understood and agreed that the Vehicle is the absolute property of the Owners and the Renter a mere Bailee.

THE RENTER IS OBLIGATED TO:

  1. The renter shall drive the rented vehicle only while qualified to do so under the law and shall, at all times, drive the vehicle in a careful and skillful manner and in accordance with all legal requirements and with the terms and conditions of the Owner’s standard policy of insurance.
  2. Deliver the vehicle in the same conditionand with same tyres and equipment as of the day of agreement.
  3. Follow the Cyprus Traffic Code and must not use the vehicle for street racing, on roughterrain or sand, or other place that may cause damage to the vehicle or is prohibited by law.
  4. Allow the driving of the vehicle exclusivelyby the drivers listed on the agreement, who must not drive the vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or other substances.
  5. Is responsible for any fine or penalty due to violation of traffic code.
  6. Keep the vehicle locked at all times. In case the vehicle keys are lost, destroyed or stolen, the renter shallpay for their replacement (keys-key lock).
  7. No relaxation forbearance or indulgence by the Owners in enforcing any of the terms and conditions of this agreement shall prejudice or affect the right and powers of the Owners hereunder nor shall any waiver of any breach operate as a waiver of any subsequent or continuing breach.
  8. The expression “the Vehicle” includes all tyres, accessories tools and other items with which it is equipped and the Renter declares that he has inspected them.
